Welcome to South Street Bootcamps​

Group fitness classes are FUN, sweat dripping, heart pumping, muscle developing classes geared toward anyone! No fitness level is required. Don't let the name BOOTCAMP scare you. Go to one class and I can promise you, you will be hooked. We give everything of ourselves all day to those around us...kids, spouses, friends, coworkers, parents, pets...we can't forget to also give to self.

About Us

 

Southstreet bootcamps is a community based fitness program. We are now INSIDE for all classes! 

Workouts vary in format and design, and last for an entire hour: the first 10-15 minutes of class I show you how to do every exercise, offering progressions for more and regressions for less. The actual workout itself is between 35-40 minutes. Some exercises are with weights, some are just body weight.  We squat, lunge, push, pull, run, jump, all kinds of great exercises aimed at functional strength. Every exercise can be modified to suit you for where you are at that day or that week.

 

 I will encourage you, but never pressure you. YOU WORK AT YOUR OWN PACE. Nobody knows your body like you do.

 

Music and a timer are played through a speaker so you know when to work and when to rest. I coach you the entire workout, making sure you are lifting correctly, squatting correctly, lunging correctly, etc. My focus in coaching is always GOOD FORM so that you stay injury free so you can develop your muscles, preserve and improve mobility, maintain stability, and improve flexibility.  

Life requires all of that.

Fitness is a journey, it is a process.

 

You don't have to count calories, starve yourself, eat ONLY SALADS.

You don't have to chase a number, and you don't have to do hours and hours of cardio. 

It's so much simpler than we think, simpler than we've been told. 

Lift weights (3-4 times a week), eat REAL FOOD (every day), Jump train 3X a week (10 minutes),  balance, flexibility, and mobility work, walk (good for the soul) and be grateful for what you have
